What would you do with a box of every set?

Although I wasnt fortunate enough to be Judging at any events when this occured, it sure would have been nice to actually get a "real box" of Strike of Neos and Power of the Duelist instead of the way they are doing it now at the releases (was there a Booster released inbetween STON and POTD...

    the worst regional ever

Exactly. Once the Round starts, all I need to do as a convenience, is Post a big white sheet of paper on the wall with a End Time. Watches these days are pretty inexpensive, and since nearly everyone carries a Cell Phone, Time really isnt a issue. Being able to HEAR that time is called...

    Narrow Pass and Jinzo

While Narrow Pass is active, anytime a player Normal Summons a monster, it is recorded against the total summons they are allowed while it is "active". If Jinzo negates the effect, it allows you to perform Normal Summons without restriction. It doesn't removed the total number already recorded...

    Jinzo vs. Cloak And Dagger

Since it appears that Cloak and Dagger triggers as soon as the summoned monster hits the field, Spell Speed 1 (Ignition Effects) would be unable to activate, much like the situation with Stumbling, but if it was a Trigger Effect, like Mobius or Zaborg, the effect still goes through since Cloak...

    Jinzo vs. Cloak And Dagger

Since it states that the monster must be summoned in order to "trigger" its effect, by the time Jinzo is successfully summoned to the field, Cloak and Dagger would be negated. It should function much the same way for Elemental Hero Wildheart and Tenkabito Shien as well, since they are...

Card Sleeving Revisited - Opinions wanted

As far as Premier Events go, you can ONLY use Yugioh Size Sleeves. Your Local Stores are not necessarily going to hold you to this standard. When it comes to the different types of Colors and Printings, you will find that you have the least problems with Sleeves that have no designs, and are...

    Priority Again

The turn player has priority to start all chains, and since a summon itself is not considered a "chainable event" (unless it has a Trigger like Zaborg, Breaker, or Mobius), they retain that priority even after a summon, and can activate a monster's Ignition Effect (which starts a chain), or a...

    [judge-yu] [Judge!] exodia win conditions

The part about it being unsportsmanlike conduct hasn't been affected by time, has it? As well as the part about it being a game rule that you MUST declare victory when you have all five pieces, so that would also be a Procedural Penalty. The way I see it, you can call it a game loss in 2...

    Advanced Ritual Art

You misunderstand my objection. If they wish to call it something new, at least CHANGE how it affects the text. Don't leave everything basically the same, and replace "Battle" with "Piercing". If its the same thing, it didnt shorten it. It just replaced a word everyone already knows, with a...

    New Terminology

They certainly will have to change the Rule Book. It just doesnt make any sense to say that a monster that has a Higher ATK than a monsters DEF does Piercing Damage, and that Battle Damage is the same as Piercing Damage, when you could have just left it as it was. That's like saying "A Jar of...

    Advanced Ritual Art

However, it list that Tribute Summon and Normal Summon are the same IN the Rule Book, so that is just a ignorant argument to begin with. Piercing Damage doesnt clarify anything, and is just a colorful word that needs a description to explain it, whereas every card that does Battle Damage...

    Advanced Ritual Art

It's not the same thing, or they wouldnt have changed it. That is the argument you will hear, and if that is the best answer you have, then it isnt going to satisfy anyone who continues to argue it. There is no "Piercing Damage" or "Trample" in the Rule Book. There is only Direct...

    Advanced Ritual Art

So, what is "piercing damage" exactly? Is it effect damage, or battle damage? Since there is no previous term to compare it to, this is going to be the exact type of question that will logically be asked, since Waboku doesnt stop "Piercing Damage". I really don't see what the need was to...

    Advanced Ritual Art

This card is effectively equal to Earth Chant, End of the World, and Contract with the Abyss, in that you can ONLY Tribute the exact Star Level. No more and no less (of course).

    Exiled Force vs. continuous Spells

What makes you say that? You still don't know if he understands. This thread wasnt for you. It was for the individual that posted it. If they are entirely understanding of how their question has been answered, then yeah, it is done. But it was done a long time ago for someone who ALREADY...

    Exiled Force vs. continuous Spells

Right. And it wasn't enough. It's kind of like asking, "Do you start the game with 5 cards, or 6 cards in hand?" To which the answer would be, "Yes". Now, anyone who knows the game at its basic level knows that both players draw 5 cards, and only the turn player will draw a sixth card to...

    Exiled Force vs. continuous Spells

Hey, I don't argue symantics. I'll leave that for DaGuy and Densetsu. I try to make it easy, with as few terminology words as possible. When you don't understand, you ask more questions. That's how it usually goes, and then things get clarified further. A answer should be part of a...

    Exiled Force vs. continuous Spells

Not really. Level Limit - Area B is like walking into a room where the light is already on, and you just react to it. Stumbling is like walking into a room with a Security Light that senses motion and turns itself on, forcing a reaction. Level Limit - Area B would almost go unnoticed, as it...

    Exiled Force vs. continuous Spells

I was only really talking about Stumbling, which is a Trigger Effect. I know Level Limit - Area B doesnt use the Chain, which is why I said if a effect asserts itself, meaning "activates", then the player cannot chain to that effect with another Spell Speed 1 Effect.
