You mean, Morphing Jar?? Morphing Jar #2 sends cards from the field back to the Deck, and any card sent to the Graveyard is considered sent from the Deck, not hand.

You're probably talking about Penguin Knight or Electric Snake, but just like Skey said, its pretty much been that way as long as I can remember.

Of course it still gets the effect. It was successfully summoned, and its effect only activates after a successful summon has occurred. Returning him to hand only prevents him from being "on" the field when the destruction part of his effect resolves.

I think it's probably a "Chicken before the Egg" scenario, but if you call Baboon the "Chicken", and Grandmaster the "Egg", that would mean that Grandmaster should dictate that Baboon follows suit. I guess you almost have to call it a exception, or more likely, a addendum. :ninja:
