After a six month break from pretty much all things YGO! related, I'm back. Unless WoW completely takes over my life which it very well could with its addictiveness. Anyway, good to be back and Happy Holidays to everyone.
I'm sorry to hear that. You should atleast keep the decklist around so that you can rebuild it in the future since it does seem to be more of a fun deck. Only question is, what decks were your opponents playing today?
As good as the deck is right now, have you thought about the possibility of using Return from the Different Dimension with the Souls to inflict mass damage. I'm not entirely sure what to drop for it, but I think it adds to the greatness of the deck.
Hmm, I really like this. Its probably the most solid ritual build I've seen in a long time, if not ever. I'm currently struggling to come up with fixes for you since this is such a solid build to me.
Not much to say about the deck honestly. It started out as a Mystic Swordsman build that I started to morph into more of a total field control/bounce deck. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I suspect its going to be somewhat good. No clue how it'll do actually, I'm just looking to have...
I've yet to build or test this, but I'd like to get some input since I'd like to take it to the local tourney this weekend. The idea came up when I was checking out another Batteryman deck here earlier, can't remember whose, and I remembered something about a light deck using Freed and RftDD...
I don't see Heavy Storm or Mystical Space Typhoon helping that much since you probably wont need much S/T removal, if any. Instead, Throw in a Metamorphosis to provide a little more stall through Thousand-Eyes Restrict. You've got four level one monsters plus Scapegoat, so I doubt it'll be a...
To answer the question, flip flop control is far from dead. Sure you have to be a bit more cautious with twin NoCs running about, but its not that big of a deal with all the diversity in flip monsters. Those that ran two Dekoichi can run one and a Skelengel now and get the same effect, just less...
After a little thought towards my Monarch/Chaos control build, I decided I should take a little different approach. I began looking at the decks that are currently doing pretty good, as well as what looks to be big in the upcoming format, and decided to build a hybrid Monarch/Flip control. Most...
If a mod reads this, could you please move it to the Advanced Format Deck section. Thainks.
Well, I'd much rather be running something a bit more creative, but for now I'll be running the same old Monarch/Chaos control. Too be honest though, I haven't ran this many tribute monsters in a long...
With NoC back at two and Dark World Lightning running about in the mass amounts of Dark World decks, why not try the good ol' Big Shield Gardna. Its going to hold up to ANYTHING trying to take it out, besides Mystic LV2 and Drillroid. Not entirely sure what yould want to take out for it though...
Alright, well if you want this to be competitive in tournament play you're gonna have to make some changes. So yeah, lets address the monsters first...
-Baby Dragon
-Lizard Soldier
-Element Dragon
-Armed Dragon LV10
-Luster Dragon
-Twin-Headed Behemoth
-Mirage Dragon
+Fusilier Dragon...
Quick question, are you meaning for this to be just a fun deck or are you wanting to use it for tournament play? Your decision here affects my judgment for card selections and such. At the moment, I think you've gone a little overboard on the dragon theme, even for a casual deck.
This Saturday will be the last time that I play this format, so I want to go out blazing. I'm trying out a few things that I haven't done in the past, hoping they work while I have fun using stuff I haven't yet.
