I know you cannot activate book of life if your opponant has no monsters in their grave yard, but can shallow grave be activated if your opponant has no monsters in their graveyard? What is the rule regarding the activation of such cards?

Can you chain the activation of mirror wall onto another face down mirror wall so as to half the already halved att. Eg. Monster Atts with 2000att, activate mirror wall and halve att to 1000att, then chain another mirror wall to halve att again to 500att.

Brain jacker needs to be manually flipped to get its effect. However, does this only mean it needs to survive the attack of a monster, such as using waboku, to gain it's effect?
