2006 25th Feb Roll Call for Austin Regionals

Believe it or not, I may actually be attending this event as a player! Finally! It's been sooooo long since I played in an event it's not even funny!

Can you say carpool?!!
 
cool hopefully i won't have to play u, cuz i tend to have that kind of luck :huh_jedi:. but i was wondering about how many people r going to show up there cuz of the sjc is on the same day
 
Well, there was about 200 people that showed up and packed into Thor's Hammer! OMG! It was very interesing though, seeing as there weren't enough tables or chairs for everybody. It ended up being there were about 60 people each round that either had to stand at a table (no chair) or sit on the floor and duel. It was still a very fun day for me! I did horribly! But hey, what did you expect? Did you see the deck I was running??...LOL! All I can say is WOW! "Cyber-Stein" OTK. Wow!
 
yeah u and me both got cyber stein OTK first round and then it just went down hill from there for me but hey at least now i will change up my deck and run something new maybe a little more fun then my last deck. but that place all i could say was wow it was hot in there and i just wanted out :drunk_jed
 
And the Records??? How many rounds did you guys play? Did anyone of you drop?

Im ganna guess on this... The meta there was prob...Warrior Toolbox xD......And or Soul Control...


So yes, Any Standings? Places? What was the winning deck? How many rounds you play? [Guessing 8], Got the link to the top8 decks, If they are even out yet.

well as for my record i went 3-4 before i dropped to work on a new deck. but as for what people were running i ran into cyber stein OTK, soul control, warriors (the structure deck), warrior toolbox, old school burn (Ookazi, Poison of the Old Man, Tremendous Fire, etc.), and can't really remember the rest cuz of the heat (from that burn deck cuz i lost to it:cog_cryin and from inside of that store). as for the top 8 i didn't really see who it was but it looked like most the guys who top 8 at the houston regionals was standing around the top 8 area
