There's just...a massload of movies coming out this year that I want to see. I'm fairly certain, I can't afford to see all of them. In any event, here's what I'm most looking forward to. More or less in order.

Well the films I want to see are:-
Ant Man and Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Purely because of I've been enjoying the Marvel Studios films.
Ex Machina
Looks like an interesting film

The Crow
Since I would like to see how good of a job they do of the remake, unfortuatly there's no trailer for this film yet.

The movie I'm looking forward to seeing most this year is Age of Ultron

followed by starwars the force awakens and Jurassic world.

I'm also looking forward to Dragonball Z Battle of gods 2 revival of F

Forgot about Ex Machina. There's a few good AI movies out there now I want to check out. Anyone see Automata, yet? I hadn't got a chance to.

I did even know Automata exsisted until now, it does look interesting.
Although I'm going to struggle to watch it legally, since as far as I can tell from a couple of quick google searchs it doesn't seem have a UK release scheduled.

The problem with that is the film is it's American imports and I cannot play American blu rays on my PS3, as for the DVD i've not I'm having issues with region 1 DVD player I have, the sound on it plays to low for me to enjoy, even with the volume at max, so right now that option out for me unfortunatly.

Torrents it is. I'm assuming we don't have the same content on Netflix in the US and the UK? It was only, like, last year they added Doctor Who to Hulu Plus, and Netflix only had up until, like, three seasons back. Making it hard for a completest to watch every Doctor Who ever...without a little searching. :hrm:

Yes there re different, which is a bit unfortunate for me since a lot of the things I want to watch on Netflix is only availible on the US side.

Wow that's quite a bit more then I'm willing pay to watch it.
I suppose torrents is an option or I find a site that allows me to stream it.

hopefully it'll get a u.k release because it looks like a good movie.

Batman V superman Dawn of justice is due out this year.

Rumors were that it was going to be split in to two movies turned out to be fake.

Pirimewire.ag is a decent site for catching movies and shows that just never seem to reach the other services. But be advised you should have a decent ad blocker enabled when visiting., or you might see things...you can't unsee. :(

Thanks, i'll look into it.

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.en_GB.html this can play region 1 DVDs and region 2 on a pc without changing any pc settings.

I thought you guys were talking about hardware that played regional encoding, for some reason. Yes, in my experience, VLC will play just about anything. I backed mine up with an additional codec pack, but really, the default install had just about everything I ever needed. I have to second Defector's suggestion, even if I'm not sure about its ability to play region specific discs. It's just an all around good player to have, even if it isn't the prettiest. (Though it can be skinned.:

I have played an American disk in my PC using that, when every other program said change your region your only allowed 3 changes.

Do either of you guys stream content from your laptop to your TV? You might want to look into Plex Server. If you can't get around the regions, but can rip or otherwise download it, it's a great way to stream to your TV provided you have some of the very commen devices they stream to: https://plex.tv/

Personally, I find DVDs to be kind of antiquated. Much like laser disc or CDs.

Whats a lazer disc?

To be honest I fought CDs,DVDs and blu-rays were considered lazer discs.

Also Jurassic world look really amazing.
