I was questioned if I could use spell cards that I've set on the same turn and I said "of course"

My opponent said something there's a ruling about that..

and made me unsure..

please confirm this on for me

Unless it's a Quick-Play Spell Card. In that case, it takes on the characteristics of a Trap Card and cannot be activated until the next turn.

You may not use Quick-play spell cards on the same turn they are set.

All other may be set and activated on the same turn.
(Normal, Ritual, Equip, Field, Continuous)
