? about changing battle postions

Lets say I have Breaker and a face down Magician of Faith on my side of the field. I flip summon Magician and then play Earthquake which changes both of them into defense position. Am I right in believing that I can change Breaker back into attack postion since I can change his battle position manually once a turn?

Sorry, but you are incorrect on this one. You can manually change a monster's position if all of the following are true:

1. The monster has not be summoned (including flip summon and special summon) or set this turn.
2. The monster's battle position has not been changed manually or changed by a card's effect (it's own effect or other card effect such as Book of Moon).
3. The monster has not attacked yet.

Looking at #2 above, you can see that you can not change Breaker's battle position manually because his battle position was changed by a card effect already.
