About the upcoming Ban/restrict list

Lets say the list comes in May 1st

When will the new list start working. as in when wil tournaments start going after that very same list? is it before the World Championship or?

Usually you will know what the list is a few days before it becomes "official". But as of the official date of release, all sanctioned tournaments using the advance format must adhere to it.

I guess the most probable thing is that the WC will have the new List. However, Regionals and Nationals may not have it since it's released after the realization of those events

Just a note. DimensionalWarrior is not talking about US Nationals, but Nationals of other countries that have to be done sooner.

You can expect to see this soon, if I'm not wrong:
"ADVANCED FORMAT LIST EFFECTIVE APRIL 1"

Then, all Advanced Format Tournaments done after March 31 will have to abide by this new list, including US Nationals and World Championship.

chaosruler, the new ban list will be probably known by March 1st, when it gets released in Japan, assuming that we will keep the same list.

I don't want to know when the list is released...I only care of what's in the list !

maybe you should want to know, because if we never get it released we stick by the current list.
