Advanced Ritual Art

My friend says that Ritual Monsters with the text "This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "insert name of ritual spell here"

For example, I play Advanced Ritual Art and send Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck to the grave, to summon Demise, King of Armageddon from my hand. My friend says I can't do that. I argue that I can.

I have an entire deck built around summoning monsters with Advanced Ritual Art. I use monsters like Lycanthrope, Cu Chulainn The Awakened, and Demise. Please settle this dispute. Thanks guys!

Your friend is wrong. Advanced Ritual Art ignores that text and can be used for ANY AND EVERY Ritual Monster available. It's currently the #1 best Ritual Spell card ever printed. The only Ritual Monsters that'll struggle running this card is just Relinquished, since you have to run LV1 monsters with it. (The Normal Monster sent from deck to grave have to be exactly the same level overall. Meaning if your running Demise, then you have to select either 1x LV8, 2x LV4, 4x LV2, etc. etc. etc. Whatever to fit the bill to get the exact number. You can't send say a total of LV9 Normal monsters to pull out Demise. This is why for Relinquished, this card is bad. I mean, you have to use LV1 Normal Monsters. And other then Exodia, the choices are just Thousand-Eyes Idol, Charchol Inpachi, Oppressed People. IMO, I would rather just use Treeborn Frog and Scapegoats.)

Read Contract of the Abyss card. That one lets you Ritual summon any Dark Ritual monsters. This includes Zorc/Relinquished/Demise. And all of those three monsters have "except" whatever crap. It's like using LV up spell card on LV monsters. It bypass the condition.

Yeah, other than Relinquished (because there's just TOO MUCH TEXT printed on him already) every Ritual monster says they can only be summoned with a specific named card. It's been like that since the beginning, kinda of just for reference as to what teh ritual to summon the monster is, and vice-versa, but nothing more than that. If your friend wants something more concrete as to Art being used, tell him to look here:
