If a card like Dimensional Fissure of Macro Cosmos is on the field, can a player activate dvanced Ritual Art?

Can a player chain Macro Cosmos to the activation of Advanced Ritual Art to mess it up?

Sending monsters to the Graveyard is the effect of Advanced Ritual Art (and every other Ritual Spell), not the cost. So aside from screwing up the potential Doom Dozer follow up in a Demise deck, Macro Cosmos and related cards will do nothing to prevent the effect from going off.
