I've always known Genevieve O'Reilly resembled Caroline Blakiston's portrayal of Mon Mothma, even back in Episode III, but holy cow!

Freaking Loth-Cats... (Yes, I know they were in Mando.)

The MagnaGuard in casualwear?

I've never been able to keep track of my Brothers and Sisters.

Orange, light red, whatever you want to call them, they are distinctly less red than the lightsaber we see wielded by the Inquisitor. My guess is these are the eponymous "Grey Jedi" that Filoni has been trying to work into canon ever since Resistance.

You said Grey Jedi being worked into Star Wars since Resistance, but i think you mean Rebels.

Yes. I don't know if Filoni and the gang want to call them that, just yet. But they definitely have an interest in exploring devotions to the Force that have nothing to do with two big sects we know about.

Even the newer movies started exploring this early on with the Church of the Force in The Force Awakens and with Chirrut Îmwe. People who are completely penitent to the Force, but have no Force Sensitivity to speak of. So, being Jedi or Sith is out of the question. Even the Sith Eternal weren't Sith, but rather a kind of Sith groupie.

I was certain we were going to get more Force Sensitives of other devotions in future Resistance seasons. It looked like they were setting that up, but never got to go anywhere with it. But these guys with the orange saber colors look to be something along those lines. That's my suspicion, anyway.

I was sad to see Resistance end. It had finally found its footing with season 2 and I liked where it was going.

Were people genuinely debating whether these things were orange?

Dave Filoni said:
I made it a little bit more orange. That's really good eye. You're the first person to catch that. That was very intentional. I didn't make them just a stark red. I remember as a kid that Vader's lightsaber kind of fluctuated from visual effects to being a little bit more orange. I didn't want to go straight up orange, but it's identifying a little bit of something to kids that they might not straight up be what you think they are in the beginning. It's good you caught that. Nothing is accidental.

Also, Dave, I know you probably don't social media, but literally everybody caught that.
