Airknight Parshath and Fairy Meteor Crush

Your opponent has Airknight on the field and you equip it with Fairy Meteor Crush. When your opponent attacks, you react with Scapegoat. What happens? Do both you and your opponent take 1900 damage or what?

yes both you and your opponent take 1900 damage because fairy meteor crush does damage to your opponents life point regardless of which monster it is equipped to.

Scapegoat triggers a replay when it resolves. Your opponent is not forced to attack a token.

I honestly do not think that is correct. The "Fairy Meteor Crush" only adds the ability to deal trample damage, not re-direct damage.

If you equip your "Fairy Meteor Crush" to an opponent's monster, and it attacks a Defense Position monster on your side of the field with ATK greater than your monster's DEF, the opponent will take the difference as Battle Damage. This is because "your opponent" is the opponent of the player who controls "Fairy Meteor Crush" not necessarily the opponent of the player who controls the monster.

Not to mention this was a thread on this board already that was discussed and debated quite extensively.

Again, I want to encourage people who have questions to please check the FAQ and also check to see if it hadn't already been asked first. Most of the time you will find the answer you are looking for without having to ask. It's not that we won't answer them, but this way you would already have access to the correct answer without waiting for it.
