Alpha Centurion's effect

I searched on the forum to make sure no one else had asked these questions, but didnt see anything.

1) If i paid Alpha's boost, i the boost effect states "exhaust any number" so this means that if i was to exhaust 1 character then all character when exhausted and defending get the +3 ATK?

2) That being said...If the boost was paid, 1 character exhausted for the boost effect. All my character are exhausted. because of Alpha's first and boost effect, this would make him a 12ATK and 8DEF correct?

1. You could choose 0 if you wanted to. And yes, all your characters would get the +3 ATK while exhausted and defending.

2. On the defense yes. On the attack, he's still 9/8.
