The deck is based around using Creature Swap and Shien's Spy to give your opponent Ameba which activates its burn effect to do 2000 damage. With Shien's spy, Ameba comes back at the end of your turn, so you can use it again next turn. In order to do this, you need to be able to flip it face down then back up to reset its effect. Hence the Book of Moons and Tsukuyomi.

Nice...I've always wanted to build an Ameba deck. If we ever get Mystic Box from Japan, then Ameba decks will get a solid boost.

Just to remind you, you won't get Apprentice Magician's effect if you swap it to your opponent's field using Creature Swap or Shien's Spy. Apprentice Magician's effect activates on the field and not in the graveyard, so if destroy Apprentice Magician on your opponent's side in battle, then your opponent gets to search for a spellcaster from his deck, not you.

I fully understand how Apprentice works. I never planned to swap them my Apprentice. It is there to get MoF out so I can get Shien's Spy or Creature Swap back from grave to use again.

And Mystic Box is coming out in the Spellcaster Structure Deck, so I will have to do an update with this deck when that comes out.

I wasn't underestimating your knowledge of this game, but the 3 Apprentice Magician did tend to stand out in a deck based on Creature Swapping. Why not try out some Night Assailants then, to reuse those MoF. And may as well add a Morphing Jar if you wish.
