Angelic Rapture <Tragedy>

This deck is based off of Sanctuary in the Sky and Agent: Saturn / Mars. It's purpose is to widen the LP gap until the Agents become win conditions. It plays like a Stall / Burn until i can hit them up with a Sanctuary / Agent combo. Keep in mind this deck is like a year old and needs some serious tweaking as it was one of the first decks i ever built. Here's the decklist...

Phase 1 - If you couldn't tell the way this thing goes - it's to spend the first half of the duel Stall / Burn with Fire Princess / Level Limit - Area B / Gravity Bind - while all of my LP gain cards start to make a difference in the gap. Solemn Wishes / Nimble Momonga / Dancing Fairy / Skull-Mark Ladybug / Magic Cylinder / Draining Shield all lead to lots of LP for me and hopefully lots of <-500 LP> for my opponent.

Phase 2 - Is to use the LP gap to break the game with a huge <3*> monster Agent: Mars attacking through the Gravity Bind / Level Limit - Area B Lock or just straight Win with an Agent: Saturn win condition effect.

*Just as a side note this deck is a great ambush deck as the first time an opponent sees it - They think Fire Princess / Solemn Wishes / Nimble Momonga / Gravity Bind / Level Limit - Area B typical Stalling Burner until SitS hits after i have a sizable LP lead and his face goes from... :) ----> :shudder

What do you guys think? Any suggestions could help. :huh
 
Nice take on the same idea!

I guess both our Fairy decks could benefit from the Sanctuary searcher due out in Force of the Breaker, or SD11 whichever comes first.

Whoa. What card is this? Can you give a basic description of this card? Is it like Toon Table of Contents where it can search out the Agents too? Nah i'm just dreaming over here.

Whoa. Whenever i see cards like this it makes me think there might be more of the same type coming. You know a Field Searcher with a high Att for Level just of another brand. Maybe an ArchFiend who searches out Pandemonium or something like that.

I don't know where i'd fit it into this group but i can definitely see this bad boy fitting into your deck rather well. It gives you a beatstick / searcher and is a Fairy so it helps out your main focus The Sanctuary in the Sky and gives your Mudora extra muscles.

I'm looking for more cards that help with the Burn / Stall techniques going on in my deck. I've even considered using this combo <*Malice Doll of Demise / Ectoplasmer> because with this deck it would not only help do direct damage but could act as a stall technique never allowing the enemy to amass a large number of troops. The only thing stopping me from trying this is it might speed up the battle a little too fast. This combo with Des Wombat might be something i need to look into. Prolly just not for this deck.

IMO, wait for the Light Structure deck. (It's right after Machines) That'll improve Sanctuary decks by alot. (Along with some FOTB cards that lets you search field spell cards with a monster card)
 
I'm already looking foward to the new Six-Masters cards as i can't wait to build a deck around them. You don't happen to know a link to a site that previews the new packs / cards that are soon to be hitting the scene - do you?

Plus any burn tech that could fit in with Fire Princess would be a great service to me.

You could also try a Zaborg in there for fun ;)

I ran a deck like this ages ago but w/o the Fire Princess. I was also using Spirit of the Breeze I think. Hysteric Fairy could also be ok in here.
 
First off thanks for the link Ojimaru. I've been trying to find a card preview site like this and this will be most useful. :nod_yes


Next off i'll address the whole Ectoplasmer / Malice Doll of Demise idea. The problem i have with this deck is when i can't keep my Fire Princess on the field long enough due to either monster removal cards like Exiled Force or Fissure. I still gain LP but if i can't lower my opponents LP then i need 8000 LP more before i can use The Agent of Judgment - Saturn as an endgame device. That's a big difference but if i use a LP drain engine even if it hurts me it's OK because <the closer we both get to 0 - the smaller the amount of LP between us have to be.>

Example: I have 11000 LP <after Nimble Momonga> he has 8000 LP <no damage> = I'm still 5000 LP difference away. After a couple rounds of Ectoplasmer - I have 5200 LP and he has 2500 LP. My opponent has shaved 300 LP off of the difference from <3000 LP --> 2700 LP> but it's still a wrap because his LP is so close to 0.

Ectoplasmer also has the effect of getting rid of his monsters causing him to lose field advantage while i set up my other burn tactics like Fire Princess / Dancing Fairy. You see this is where the second part of the combo comes in as Malice Doll of Demise returns to the field every time i sacrifice him to Ectoplasmer allowing me to gain field advantage. This will also open a path for The Agent of Force - Mars to maybe land a 1500 - 2000 LP shot to open the gap large enough to use Saturn or end it outright. Level Limit - Area B / Gravity Bind will keep it so any big hitters won't be able to attack so they'll only be doing 100 - 200 LP more then my 800 LP per turn Malice Doll of Demise. Another great thing about the MDoD is it comes back in the standby phase meaning my opponent can't destroy it in battle. I wouldn't use Ectoplasmer without the MDoD and risk my real troops. I've also considered using Dark Snake Syndrome but i like the extra protection the other combo adds. Don't forget almost all my cards are geared at LP Gain so anything that hurts both of us hurts me less because i have the means to gain it back while most people frown upon LP Gain Techniques.

As far as Messenger of Peace goes I've definitely considered it but that would make The Agent of Force - Mars not be able to attack and he has great synergy with Level Limit - Area B / Gravity Bind being only <3*>.

As far as the other cards suggested go - i'm going to look into them now. I've never even heard of Synthetic Seraphim before and i love getting looks at different cards. It's always helpful to get some perspective.

Sorry to double post :maul but after playing around with this build some more I think i came up with a tweak that might fit this build better then <Malice Doll of Demise / Ectoplasmer>.

First off i messed up with the new Banned List and didn't realize <Gravity Bind / Level Limit - Area B> was restricted to 1 so i have to lose 1 of those each. I'm also losing 1 The Sanctuary in the Sky as i almost always have extra clogging up my hand. With the subtraction of those i need more stall tactics so Messenger of Peace is going to have to go in.

The new cards i have in mind are both cards that take advantage of the clog up of monsters my stall cards Level Limit - Area B / Gravity Bind / Messenger of Peace / Wall of Revealing Light creates...

The first one is a card i've been trying to fit in a deck for a while. Raging Flame Sprite is perfect for this deck - because this deck restricts attacking so much. I also love this card because it puts serious pressure on your opponent sort of like Wave-Motion Cannon because if they don't take care of it right away it will turn into a Win Condition. Being only <3*> it will work with all my stallers except Messenger of Peace. (I really wish i could use another Level Limit - Area B). I'll be adding 2 of these.

The other card to help with the Burn Technique of this deck is a pair of Just Desserts. I've never found a real use for this card except being paired with Ojama Trio - but the one thing i noticed about this deck is it causes my opponent to put a lot of troops out there because he's always thinking wait till i get my Mobius the Frost Monarch / Breaker the Magical Warrior / Heavy Storm / Mystical Space Typhoon / etc. out there and i'm gonna charge through this blockade. This is why i 1) NEVER play more then 1 staller at a time - 2) Have come up with the idea of Just Desserts to make them pay for their Delayed Aggression. Not to mention with this deck 1500 LP could be all that is seperating me from dropping The Sanctuary in the Sky and ending the game outright. I'll be adding 2 of these also.
