Any new Archfiends?

Forgive me if this has become common knowledge and I've missed it somewhere. I'm aware of the list that was put out awhile back that stated what older cards are considered Archfiends (Beast of Talwar, (Toon) Summoned Skull, Fiend Skull Dragon, e.g.), and anything with 'Archfiend' in it's name is obviously an Archfiend.

Does that mean that only cards with 'Archfiend' in the name are considered Archfiends? Cyber Archfiend, for example. Or are there any others (like Goblin Elite Attack Force or any of the new Dark World-ers) that are considered Archfiends?

The only reason that these older cards are considered Archfiends is because the were translated into english before the creation of the cards that search for/modify stats based on the presence of an Archfiend.

The word that was consistantly used (demon, I belive) was not consistantly translated into the same word. Then when time came to traslate these seachers and whatnot, Konami ran into a problem. So they chose the word Archfiend for all future translations and the old cards are just "considered to" be Archfiends. I doubt they would make that mistake on any present sets.

I wouldn't think that they'd err this way either. And I tend to agree with you both.

I was just wondering if the new Dark World-ers were considered Archfiends and could be used together with Pandemonium, Terrorking, etc. But I knew it would be too good to be true.

Well marmot of nefairness[what ever his name is, he's the stupid level 2 normal squirrell with wings and a horn] had his name changed to include archfiend in it's name. When I saw this I was in shock too.

Right. As DJ said, the word originally used was demon. UDE didn't like that word, and so used things like "beast" or "skull" instead. The problem came in DCR when cards were released that said "any monster with "Demon" in its name" on them. Suddenly, UDE was kicking themself for using other words. They covered their @$$ by using Archfiend and doing some erratas.
