Assault on GHQ and Mind Control

Am I correct in thinking that destroying a monster with Assault on GHQ is part of the effect and not a cost?

If so, I could use it on my opponent's monster that I took with Mind Control, right?

yea its not being tributed.

anything that said destroy or sent is not considered a tribute unless it states offer as a tribute.

It's not a cost, but it wouldn't matter if it was. Assault on GHQ doesn't use the word tribute.
