Banisher of the Light

Hello. I am new to the group, and I have a question. I play Banisher of the Light. I think it is pretty good against Chaos decks. I want to know if I can play it face up in Defence position, and when it is sent to the graveyard, is the effect still active?

You can't put any card in face up defense position just put it facedown and wait till it gets flipped.When it is destroyed it goes to the graveyard and NOT RFG.

btw..daivahataka, I LOVE your little dancing GIR! I can just here him singing the 'DOOM' song!

Getting back to the matter at hand (although the dancing guy is HILARIOUS :D ), just play a couple "Light of Intervention" trap cards. Then your "Banisher of the Light" (and all other) monster cards will have to be played face-up.

thanks jathro. i never thought of using the light of intervention. i will be sure to add this to my deck.

thanks again. with this card, my banisher of the light will be used to its full potential.
