barrier statue vs dimension fusion

If you activate dimension fusion and you special summon barrier statue of _________ can you bring back barrier staue and make your opponenrt not summon monster unless they be said attribute

I wouldn't think so. The monsters are summoned simultaneously, a Barrier Statue's effect wouldn't be active until it was too late.

This is comparable to Return from the Different Dimension vs Jinzo. It's a continuous effect that becomes active AFTER the resolution of the effect that's Special Summoning it. Therefore the effect resolves without bother (both players will Special Summon their monsters - Barrier Statue of xxx being among them is irrelevant).
