I've really only heard of the ben kei deck and didn't know what it was until i had recolected the vague memory of a duel in which i was killed in one turn (i went first, set a card, his turn, i died) by a blurred figure with about 4 or 5 equip cards on him..i wasnt sure quite what happened but i knew firsthand what a ben kei deck can do...What better a deck to complete my deadly trifecta! im gonna start from scratch and make my own.

Deck Title: "Blade Salvo" - 40 Cards

Monsters~13

Armed Samurai - Ben Kei x3
Mataza The Zapper x2
Mystic Tomato x3
Marauding Captain x3
Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu
Sangan

Spells~22

Mage Power
United We Stand
Axe of Despair x3
Lightning Blade x3
Fusion Sword Murasame Blade x2
Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou
Reinforcements of the Army x2
Smashing Ground x2
Giant Trunade
Mystical Space Typhoon
Heavy Storm
Lightning Vortex x2
My Body As a Shield
Nobleman of Crossout

Traps~5

Royal Decree x3
Seven Tools of the Bandit x2

Side Deck

Fusion Sword Murasame Blade
Shooting Star Bow - Ceal
Mask Of Darkness
Mystic Plasma Zone
Fairy of the spring x2
Warrior Returning Alive x2
Brain Control x2
Smashing Ground
Dekoichi The Battle Chanted Locomotive x2
The Dark Door
Morale Boost

I want NOTHING in their magic or trap card zones, i want NOTHING on their side of the field, i dont wanna sweat over traps, i just want them to lay down and die in one fatal swoop. Any suggestions on other means of deck searching for ben kei, or an alternative to darkworld lightning/lightning vortex for destroying face up/face down monsters? Maybe even some better trap control? Oh a big thing i wanted to avoid was ben kei being killed by means other than trap (which is locked down) so thats what body as a shield is for, but id really like to stomp on any spells that could irritate me that my "body as a shield" cant handle.

*Please rate the other 2 decks in my trifecta here~

I'll return the favor!

Ooh! Ben Kei OTK, i love these decks...

Ok, fact; People don't go down that easy, u will have to fight the woods if u wanna thrash 'em, that's the way it is...

Now;

WHERE THE HELL ARE SNATCH AND PREM!?!?!?!

They are equips, Kotetsu tech with them is awesome

13 monsters isn't enough, and lightning blade is specialist- side deck card at best

-3 Lightning Blade
-1 Giant Trunade (Sorry, personal grudge, I think it's a hateful card, and no way does it belong in OTK)
+2 Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu (Clear out some space so u actually draw the cards u might need)
+2 Exiled Force (Destroy, good combo with Marauding and RotA, nuff sed)

-1 My Body as a Shield (pay 1500, that's 2 much of a bite, u'd b better off just bringing the monster back with CotH or Prem)
-1 Royal Decree (Steady on, 2 STotB and 3 RD is just a bit too much, u'd b making an opening for dead draws, take out one of either)
-1 Fusion Sword Murasame Blade (Give the deck some air)
+1 Call of the Haunted
+1 Premature Burial
+1 Snatch Steal
____

Ok! Now u should b good to go

Hope I helped^^

Instead of the Seven Tools of the Bandit.. I would go with Solemn Judgment .... other than that, the ^^^^ above corrections seem pretty good.! I know its 1/2 your LP, but if you happen to be below 1000 LP and your opponent goes for the punishing blow, you still have that protection...

il just say that almost every otk deck ever has run giant trunade (for obvious reasons) clear the field then you have nothing to worry about when you go for the big attack.
i have no big experiance with ben kai however i would suggest that you run stall that doesnt last long e.g steelcage, and messenger of peace would work perfectly because you just get rid of it when your ready to go for the big hit.
im not sure that you need marulding captin, it might just be a waste of a card in your hand.
i deffinatly aggree that there should be 2 more iron blacksmith and i agree with most of zetsudai's improvements exept for trunade
i would also choose solemn over seven tools, because solemn is just like the most flexible card in existance
should deffinatly stay in the deck;)
