Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack or Defense Position and remove 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard from play.

- Obviously works well in Zombie-Themed decks only of course. The effect of this card isn't a cost effect, but, you must meet the conditions of having your opponent have atleast 1 monster in his/her Graveyard.... now that's not too hard is it? :)

- Monster removal is always a good thing, in most cases you remove monster staples that so happen to be in your opponent's Graveyard like maybe.... that Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beggining who keeps slashing you twice with his lethal sword? interesting

- And why not play this card in a Zombie-Type deck? Making your opponent suffer the effect removing 1 of their monsters in their Graveyard just so that YOU, Player A, Player B, John, Georger, Mrs. Smith, Pamela Anderson, etc. could benefit Special Summoning 1 Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard.... Very nice touch :D

- Special Summon your Zombie-Type monster in Attack or Defense Position, whatever rocks your boat.

- Most decks of course run Call of the Haunted and Premature Burial (Advanced Format) being the staple that they are and often they're really good top decks. Now, your running a Zombie-Type deck running around with 5 Monster Reborn-Like cards in your deck... Yes, you should fear Zombies!

You didnt mention the fact that when you use this card with a Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower Lock, you can (depending on how many are on the field) send 2 or more cards, from the top of your opponents deck, to the Graveyard.  With DNA Surgery and Zombie selected, ANY monster Special Summoned to the field, whether its yours or your opponents, will trigger your Bone Tower's effect.

So Book of Life can be an even more lethal combo when combined with Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower and Special Summoning:

Monster Reborn effect
Soul Release effect
Don Zaloog effect

All combining for a good old-fashioned Deck Disruption!!! :argh:

Yes Zombies have quite a bit of support, just like water and warrior, They can be used for swarming or manipulating your oppenants hand and deck, rather nasty and there isn't much to counter it either!
Imagine have Vampire Lord and Lady in there as well! ouch >_<

Book of Life, my favorite book. I run a Zombie deck, and it requires the Book of Life. It is the worst card to combine with Bone Tower, DNA Surgery, and a few others. The removal is handy too.
