When pyramid turtle goes to graveyard by battle, when does the monster get special summoned, during damage step or after?

Can you use bottomless traphole to destroy the special summoned monster?

The monster gets Special Summoned during the Damage Step. As a result, the opponent CANNOT use "Bottomless Trap Hole" or "Torrential Tribute" in response to that Special Summon.
