Brain Jacker

I have a question about brain jacker; when ive flipped him succesfully and taken over a monster on my opponent's side of the field, brain jacker is treated as an equip spell card and is equiped to the monster that was taken over. Now, when i activate Giant Trunade I assume brain jacker will return to my hand, but will the monster that was taken over by brain jacker's effect stay on my side on the field or will it return to the opponent's side of the field?

I can think of no reason for the monster to remain on your field after jacker is gone.

If an effect allows you to continue past the turn its activated without it being on the field, it usually states so in the card text.

Brain Jacker is a monster turned "Equip Card" when its effect activates. Without it being on the field, it cannot maintain control over your opponents monster, so it would return.
