Breaker/Doom Lord

I think I have a simple question and probably one that has been touched on before.

Player A has a face up Breaker WITH his counter
Player B has a face up Destiny Hero - Doom Lord, it is Player B's turn and he removes Breaker.

Now, when Breaker returns, does he still have his counter?

No. He only gets a counter when he is Normal Summoned. If he is removed from play, like any other monster or card that can maintain a counter, all counters are removed that are accumulated as an effect, and not returned once he returns to the field.
