Ok. I am still up knowing full well in about 3 and a half hours I have to get up and go to my job and work for the man, and then I notice that cards like WIDESPREAD RUIN IS GOING FOR OVER $20? WT HEASY? When did this happen? Screw it. I am going to liquidate all my good YGO cards now while I can and make some kind of money since I already only use 1 Deck now a days and I have pretty much every card in the Decks I keep with me. Does anyone have an idea of what cards are normally going for a lot now? Lucky for me I can sell my Mesmeric Control, Super Rare Widespread Ruin and Secret Rare version. Thanks.

I was like super shocked when I saw the demand for Widespread Ruin. I do not know what is going on but I am going to cash in, HARD, especially when I got that limited Super Rare from the UK.

Still, I find it very shocking how much Widespread Ruin is going for, let alone Enemy Controller. That was always expensive, but not this expensive. I am expecting at least on average from what I have seen $15 to $20+ for the regular Widespread Ruin, and probably a bit more for my UK Super Rare out of print version, the same goes for Mesmeric Control, and $15-$20+ for Enemy Controller. The others are just fair game.
That reminds me of the time when the ban-list came out that first restricted D.D. Warrior Lady to 1. A lone D.D. Assailant was going for $25-30 on eBay cause everyone was looking at it as an alternative. Crazy, considering you could simply purchase the game it came with AND the other 2 promos for close to that same price.

controllers, smashings, widespreads and Brain Controls are what everyone is after in my area....smashing goes for about 8-10
i have to keep an eye on my trade folder now....since some of my cards went "walking" at a casual event the other night...got them back, but thats not the point.

What was even better was when it went on sale for 19.00, and you could get x3 for 60.00, plus those other goofy cards, while 1 was stll selling on eBay for 25-30.Jathro said:

Good 'ol Supply and demand. I remember when I first bought the XBox game to get the cards with it (and have a game to play) and all of them were going for like $5 a pop with Slate being a bit more since it was a 1900 attacker, now things have Shifted. I might have to throw Widespread in just as a "posterity" card 8^D

If you really want to, "cash in on YGO," the only true way to do so would be to anticipate the ban list. Which isn't hard, actually.

I really haven't looked into it, but I only recall "physically" seeing one Lady Ninja Yae in my collection. Problem is, I usually look through the pack, separate cards I am interested in, then toss the other 6-7 cards back in the pack and into a box.Jason_C said:

Shame I do not have any Level Limit - Area B or other good short print cards. If Lady Ninja Yae would get me some cash........ Anyway, the bidders need to get more active. I know it is like 2 days left but the Widespread Ruins and that Dark Sage are just sitting there and Enemy Controller was shooting up in the price. Most exciting.
