Is the damage done be Chain Energy considered to be a cost? Want to know if I can combo Chain Energy and Life Absorbing Machine. Pay to set and then gain 50% LP back at next turn.
Chain Energy requires a cost to be paid-- it does not inflict. So yes, Life Absorbing Machine would work in combination with any costs you paid for Chain Energy (or any other LP costs you paid the prior turn.)
