Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End chainded with Bottomless Trap Hole

Player A special summons Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End. Player A choses to immediatly activate its effect of "By paying 1000 Life Points, send all cards in both players' hands and on the field to the Graveyard. Inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each card that is sent to the Graveyard by this effect." Player B chains with Bottomless Trap Hole. How does this resolve?

As a normal chain.

Let's presume that we don't know how a normal chain works for the present.

Bottomless Trap Hole will resolve first destroying CED and removing him from play, then CED's effect will resolve (since the effect is not dependant on the card any longer) and blows up the field for the 300 per.

So CED will still get removed from play

As in, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End is removed from play first as a result of Bottomless Trap Hole activating, and then all of the other cards on both player's sides of the field and hands go to the graveyard etc. as a result of CED.

But CED is banned so... unless you're playing Traditional ::shudder::, you won't need to worry about that.
