Child Decks

Do you guys thing that Child decks have a place in this meta? Decks like Titans, High Voltage, good guys with a short curve to five seem to be dominating the scene due to thier versitility and speed.
 
Child decks are ok in this format but again, because of the short curve, they tend to take a lot of damage early on. I personally wouldn't play a child deck because i never seem to get the nuts draw that you need to pull it off. On top of that, Antarctic Research Base was knocked off the scene so you aren't able to compensate for the constant equipping.
 
The early beat is what has been beating me, taking 20-30 damage by turn four pretty much spells a loss....
 
Im' not sure child decks can win against HV if they get a decent draw. You have to deal with the damage until turn 4. After this they can just start burning you with advance hardware.
 
True, but you have to have a really good draw and they have to have a mediocre draw. By the time turn five rolls around your generally dead....
 
Which is pretty much why I stay away from it. =/ The concept behind it is cool and all that though but its problem is consistency. =/
