Concept: Prevention via Chainable

Basically, one way or another here, what I'm looking for is to make a list of any cards that I may have missed in my list that have no, or low cost, relatively, and prevent battle damage, or battle altogether, and more importantly, are chainable....

So far I have:

Waboku > Free
Threatening Roar > Free
Thunder of Ruler > Free

Hallowed Life Barrier > Discard

The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh > Winged Kuriboh > Free

Can anyone think of any more as highly chainable as those?

Potentially Permanent (no need to chain):

Clock Tower Prison
Field Spell

Put 1 Clock Counter on this card during each of your opponent's Standby Phases. While there are 4 or more Clock Counters on this card, you do not take any Battle Damage. When this card with 4 or more Clock Counters is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" from your hand or Deck.

Emissary of the Oasis
Effect Monster (Spellcaster / LIGHT / 3 Stars / ATK 600 / DEF 400)

While a face-up Level 3 or lower Normal Monster is on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, any Battle Damage to the controller of this card from battle involving a Level 3 or lower Normal Monster becomes 0.

Spirit Barrier
Continuous Trap

As long as a monster(s) remain(s) on your side of the field, battle damage to the controller of this card becomes 0.

The Sanctuary in the Sky
Field Spell

Battle Damage to the controller of a Fairy-Type monster from a battle involving that Fairy-Type monster becomes 0.

Potentially one shot:

Amazoness Fighter
Effect Monster (Warrior / EARTH / 4 Stars / ATK 1500 / DEF 1300)

All Battle Damage to this card's controller that he/she takes from a battle involving this monster becomes 0.

Amazoness Swords Woman
Effect Monster (Warrior / EARTH / 4 Stars / ATK 1500 / DEF 1600)

The opponent takes all Battle Damage to this card's controller that he/she would have taken from a battle involving this card.

Dimension Wall
Normal Trap (chainable)

You can only activate this card when your opponent declares an attack with a monster. Instead of you, your opponent takes the Battle Damage you would have taken as a result of this battle.

Hero Spirit
Normal Trap (Chainable)

You can only activate this card during the Battle Phase of a turn in which a monster on your side of the field that included "Elemental Hero" in its card name was destroyed as a result of battle. Make the Battle Damage from 1 of your opponent's monsters 0.

Monk Fighter
Effect Monster (Rock / EARTH / 3 Stars / ATK 1300 / DEF 1000)

Battle Damage to this card's controller from a battle involving this card becomes 0.

Relinquished
Ritual Monster (Spellcaster / DARK / 1 Star / ATK 0 / DEF 0)

Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK and DEF of this card become the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead, and any battle damage you received from the battle is also inflicted to your opponent's Life Points.

as you might know mirror force
negate attack
magic cylinder
draining shield
i came up with those they stop battle altogether

But not particularly "chainable", meaning they can only be activated under specific timing. These cards can be destroyed before a person attacks, whereas something like Waboku can be chained to the card destroying it and you still get the benefit of it. Granted, Thunder of Ruler only works during the Standby Phase, but even then, it's entirely chainable during that Phase and often goes off without a hitch.

Yeah, I have Thunder of Ruler up in my Waboku list, I like it a lot.... the theory here is mostly to just totally prevent battle or battle damage altogether, not even needing creatures, really, and just win via Final Countdown. I was running Negate Attack in it, but it's a little too situational and become more of a game loser.... with Twister around now, that makes getting rid of Decree easier, and I always kept around Solemn Judgement for that and Jinzo anyway, and a couple Offerings to the Doomed for Jinzo or maybe that OHSH.... situation or something, mostly the concept uses whatever it can to just make those 20 turns go by faster, with Card Trader in now, might just make it all even easier..... usually some sort of magic stall like Nightmare Steelcage would allow for an extra card or two, and even a Mobius might hit into a Waboku or something, needless to say, you really gotta know when to play the Threatening Roars and Wabokus the most to make it work right. That's the idea, though.

I must have overlooked it. My bad. Offerings to the Doomed is one of my favorite non-staples. Are you chaining because of spell/trap destruction or are you more concerned with Royal Decree? If that's the case, have you tried Double Snare?

Although not exactly what you're looking for I would add to DarkLogician's list:

The Unhappy Maiden
Effect Monster (Spellcaster / LIGHT / 1 Star / ATK 0 / DEF 100)
When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, the Battle Phase for that turn ends immediately.

Also, RONINâ„¢ copy and paste.

I guess it depends on your definition of "relatively" low cost...but Royal Oppression's effect is chainable and 800lp can be a small price to pay for negation of a special summon, especially in today's meta of win conditions so often depending on those special summons.

another stretch but might fit is Zero Gravity since you can activate it as soon as the opponent enters the battle phase but it would be situational if he happens to have both face-up attack and face-up defense monsters before you activate it.

Frozen Soul! That's one I was looking for but couldn't remember, thank you. I'll make a note of that especially. What with Final Countdown costing 2000, well, being 2000 lower isn't a problem.

I've seriously thought about Windstorm of Etaqua and Zero Gravity, but those are a little more situational, and would have to be activated during the battle phase, instead of the other phases, since they could just change the battle positions back otherwise of the creatures.

I've also thought of The Unhappy Maiden, it'd be pretty handy, I just hate relying on creatures, as Creature Swap tends to screw me over a little more than Jinzo or decree does, in general, and Offerings to the Doomed, Twister, and Solemn Judgement tend to shut down those specific threats all in chain, or at any given time, instead of just only at a specific time.

That might be about it, but any other ideas are very welcome.
