Couple Questions?

Alright first Question deals with Enemy Controller, with the first effect if i activate it during the battle phase would it negate the attack before it's switched to defense mode or would the attack hit then switch?

Second Question deals with DECK DEVESTATION VIRUS, would i send the monster to the graveyard then activate DDV or would I activate DDV then send the monster to the graveyard?

1. It won't negate the attack, but the monster will switch to defense mode, so it won't be able to complete its attack. If "Final Attack Order" is active, then the monster will switch to defense mode, then back to attack mode, and the attack will go through. This is why the attack is not considered negated.

2. The monster to be sent to activate DDV is a cost. You activate DDV, then you pay the cost for the activation.

When you use the 1st effect of "Enemy Controller", and change the attacking monster to defense position, the attack in essence gets put on 'hold'.

If the attacking monster stays in defense position, i.e. nothing is chained to "Enemy Controller" like "Zero Gravity", then the attack will stop at the point when "Enemy Controller" resolves. No monster is flipped, no battle damage, nothing.

If something like "Zero Gravity" is chained to "Enemy Controller", then the attacking monster would be switched to defense by "Zero Gravity", then "Enemy Controller" will switch the monster BACK to attack position and the initial attack will continue as normal.


For your second Question. You would activate "Deck Devastation Virus" 1st, then tribute the Dark monster. Tributing the Dark monster is a cost for activating the "Virus"
