Crystal beast cards

Lets say i have on the feild a crystal beast card and i have 2 crystal beasts in the spell zone and 2 cards face down in the spell and trap zone. Can i choose if my crystal beast card is destroyed from the monster zone to put it in my graveyard?

Welcome to COG....
By nature, if I am understanding your question correctly, the Crystal beasts, when they destroyed as Monsters, give you the choice to place them in your Spell/Trap zone or the Graveyard (not so, when they are destroyed as Continuous Spell Cards already in your S/T zone.
That's in the bold part:

Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth
Effect Monster (Beast / EARTH / 4 Stars / ATK 1700 / DEF 1600)
When a face-up "Crystal Beast" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can change the target to this card. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Your option.

Oh, and be sure to visit the "Introduction/Farewell" section and tell us a little bit about yourself. Glad to have you aboard!!

Yes, the "crystallisation" effect is optional. You can either turn it into a Continuous Spell Card, or you can let it be destroyed like any regular monster.

Note that you can choose to "crystallise" a Crystal Beast monster if it was destroyed by an effect would also remove it from play. The only point is that the Crystal Beast monster needs to be destroyed. The "instead of sending it to the Graveyard" is in the text because that's what normally happens to a card when it's destroyed, and is only there to show what the alternative is (i.e. what "crystallising" would replace happening).
