Crystal Beasts vs. Skill Drain

I'm just assuming that while a Crystal Beast is face-up or face-down while Skill Drain is active on the field, they won't get their effect(s) to go to the S/T Zone when destroyed. Is that correct? Cause I can't find any rulings on that. Help is appreciated!

Per Netrep:
"Skill Drain" negates the effects of face-up Effect Monsters on the field, but does not negate effects that activate in the Graveyard, such as "Witch of the Black Forest", "Sangan", "Mystic Tomato", "Giant Rat", "Sinister Serpent", and "Vampire Lord".

Since Skill Drain will negate the effects of all face up cards on the field, if a Crystal Beast monster is destroyed, it will go to the graveyard and not be able to activate it's effect of going to the S/T zone.
