I tried runnng hamon in my crystal deck but he regularly fell prey to brain control/enemy controller/snatch. Maybe with the new list that will not happen so often.

I also found that the cobalt eagle worked better than the tortoise as it meant if necessary I could use him to put pegaus back to the top of my deck and re summon him. The loss of a draw was normally compensated by the additional beast in the s/t zone and worth it if I had city active and three other beasts there already.
