Cyberdark Impact--Cyber Shadow Guardna preview

Cyberdark Impact
Super Rare
Cyber Shadow Guardna CDIP-EN058

this card is going to be one of the new cards in the cyberdark impact set i like the effect if it works the way i think it does. my question is... will the attacking monster get destroyed? and if another monster attacks this card during the same turn will the card take the attack of the attacking monster? what do you think of this card?

[Continuous Trap Card]
This card can only be activated during your opponent's Main Phase. This card becomes a monster card (Earth/4 Stars/Machine/ATK-?/DEF-?) after activation, and it is Special Summoned to your field. When this card is selected as an attack target, this card's ATK and DEF becomes same as the opponent's attacking monster. Return this card set to your Spell/Trap card zone at End Phase of your opponent's turn (This card is still a Trap Card).

Looks like a kind of Physical Double to me, but more a Trap Monster version. In fact, you could say it's a Spirit Trap Monster.

Cyber Shadow Gardna will take on the current ATK and DEF of the monster attacking it (which could be several different ones, meaning several different ATK/DEF values). When it's not being attacked, it will have an ATK and DEF of 0 (officially they will be ?, but will be treated as 0 where relevant).

Cyber Shadow Gardna doesn't have to be in the same position as the attacking monster. But if it's in Attack Position, and nothing else matters, both cards will be destroyed in battle (equal ATK, obviously).

What's the point of this card?

The bad thing is that you can only activating in your foe's main phase, not battle phase. If it was battle phase, it would be awesome, (Foe attack, activate, replay, foe thinks over if to kill his huge ATK monster or not) but it's not. If there's 1 monster on the foe's field, they'll likely not attack, but if they got 2 or more, they might as well just suicide 1 monster to let the other one go through. And cards like Spirit Reapers (i.e. don't die as a result of battle) can probably ram it and will live through it.

It can only be activated in your opponent's Main Phase because it can be reused. When compared with Physical Double, PD can only be used once. If you're lucky, you can get several turns' worth of use out of CSGardna. But the logical ones among us might realise that's not going to happen.

There is little point to it, yes. I'd have much preferred a "Reptile Rush Recklessly" or something instead in the set. But whatever. Looking at the spoiler for CDIP, I see nothing but disappointment (I'm generalising here; I'm sure there are a couple of good things in it, but only a couple). And this continues the theme.

I think this set will be great for Sealed/Draft tournaments.

The Lost Millenium i thought was really good for that too, (and likewise bad for constructed...)
