EDIT: Switched things up a bit from the last post. From now on, I'm going to edit the intial posts of my deck threads instead of reposting the deck within the thread.
 
I'm going to keep the original post and just post my updates here. This way I can go back if something works better one way or the other. (Can't rely on my old man memory.) Unusual of me to make updates to a deck I haven't play tested before. I guess I just feel like it. ;) It's not that much different, but it could make a difference

Here's a interesting little observation. I notice that whenever I post a deck I get almost no responces. Now I realize I've had good reasons to counterpoint some suggestions in the past, but come on, I can't be THAT good at deck building. Otherwise I'd certainly win alot more then I do. :D
 
I would have to say take out one reaper and one other card.... and drop in 2 thestalos the fire monarch.... with Command Knight on the field he is a whopping 2800 .... plus his effect

I dont see much in the way of recursion..... i think you could benefit with a Call of the Haunted and Premature Burial... TWRA is good but not always the best option... so a bit more support would be good....i dunno, maybe lose the Nightmare Wheels for them...
I like that you have 2 Giant Trunades, but what are you going to do in the meanwhile, maybe Heavy Storm, or mst would help out....

Except that Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch is a Pyro-Type, and Command Knight only boosts Warriors. ;)

Sort of a personal preference of mine. I've always built outside of recursion and Call and the like seem to not fit into my playing style. I have the same problem in VS.

Honestly, there only there just in case. Even the two concern me. They often get to my hand when I need somthing else. Seems to be my personal bane with Spell/Trap removal. It always comes up when I don't need it. A little stapley for my tastes too, but what can you do? :)

that is a nice lil lock but if you can find away to protect agianst effect monsters that would be a real lock
 
Perhaps drop 2 traps to fit in some spiritual art - kurogane's in ? gaia is just gonna die during your end phase, so just use him with kurogane so his death is not in vain :D
 
You mean Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai? It's okay. Somewhat of a dead draw when I want to keep monsters on the field. It's one of those cards where you have to have Gaia on the field or you have to be in a position of finiehing the game with it for it to be of any value. Same for Backfire and all those other "burn" Fire support cards. I prefer the Different Dimension Gate for Gaia and for the fact it has other strategical purposes.
 
You know, my last update added more structure to the deck, so I'm afraid to add in any Nightmare's Steelcages for fear of hurting what made this deck great. Maybe I'm missing something that some of you can see.
 
for some reason i realy dunt like this... Spirit Reaper + Royal Decree will so mess you up like crazy... this deck has like 0 chance against a stall deck, it prolly doesnt even have to be that good of a stall deck... don't get surprised if all of a sudden an exodia deck will lay the smackdown on this, so many weaknesses i dunt even know where to start. its only power is swarm and stick together while your traps do a little stall/disruption, which with a Royal Decree will be obsolete, and you dunt even have 1 magic/trap killer.
