If D.D. survivor is face up on the field and macros cosmos is face up on the field , and d.d. survivor is attacked and destroyed , does he come back at the end phase or does he stay removed from play?

If this face-up card on your side of the field is removed from play, this card is Special Summoned to the owner's side of the field during the End Phase.
He comes back in the End Phase. It is what he does best. It doesn't matter how he is RFG'd as long as he is face-up on the field when it happens.

edit: I wanted to be first! Curse your superior typing skills, DMU.

...As long as he was "already" face-up prior to an event that causes him to be removed from play, i.e., he will not get his effect if he is attacked while face-down, and then flipped face-up and destroyed by Damage Calculation.

As a side note, DD Survivor's effect will only activate once per turn. This is good to know whether you are playing with or against a Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure deck.

Let me make sure I got this right , if I attack and destroy a D.D. Survivor and Macros cosmos is on the field it gets removed then comes back at the end of turn. Because someone thought it would stay gone because it was destroyied and on its way to the graveyard then gets removed before it hits the grave yard.

Moved to correct area.

Also, it doesn't matter where is 'was' headed. It never made it to the Graveyard and was removed from play instead. Thus satisfying "D.D. Survivor"s ability to return.

Not just battle destruction. DDS will come back when destroyed by a CARD effect while face-up, and the best part, it'll come back when TRIBUTED while face-up. (e.g. tribute DDS for a Monarch) It's really abusive. DDS is literally in god-mode floater with Macro/Fissure on the field. And with Tsukuyomi is gone, the only real way to get rid of it is by Book of Moon. (Of course, other then destroying the s/t)

Let's not forget about DD Scout Plane...works well for the effect of Tribute as well with Macros on the field.
