D.D. Warrior Lady questions

Hi all,

I have some questions about D.D.:

1) The text says after damage calculation, but in which phase of the battle step does the effect applies? Does it applies in the damage step?

2) I declare an attack to an Royal Magical Librarian(for example). My opponent doesn't respond, I take 500 pts of battle damage then I decide to remove both monsters. Can my opponent activate Offerings to the Doomed ( I don't remember if it is the correct name, I'm talking about that quick play that destoys a monster and skip the Draw phase) to destroy D.D. at this time yet? ( In fact it occours with Dimension Magic and my opponent destroyed my Blade, summoned his Kycoo and my D.D was removed and I really think it's badly wrong).

3) D.D can use its effect even if Kycoo is on the field, right?

Thanks for all answers.

1-Yes, you're still in the damage step when you activate DDWL's effect.

2- If you mean the card with the following effect: "Destroy 1 face-up monster. Skip your next Draw Phase." (certainly gave the correct name for that), then no; although this card is a quickplay you'd still be in the damage step and as such, since this card has no effect on monster Atk/Def, and is not a counter trap it cannot be activated in the damage step.

3-Kycoo's effect only prevents the opponent of Kycoo's controller from removing monsters in the Graveyard from play, since DDWL's effect activates in the damage step the monsters are still both on the field.

No quickplay or trap card may be activated in the damage step, unless it modifies ATK or DEF of the battling monsters, and even these may only be activated at the start of the damage step.

Once damage calculation has been performed, you may choose to activate DD warrior lady's effect, and ONLY divine wrath can stop it then.

Teehee, I was in the middle of editing my post to add that answer, ohh well, beaten to it. :)

What's this about Dimension Magic, thought that card was only out in Japan?

Thanks for answers and sorry for some English errors ( I wrote it really fast).

And Daivahataka, I'm from Brasil and we do some tournaments with japanese cards too... and there is a guy here that plays spellcaster...
