Dark King Dragon - Vandorgaron
Dragon/Effect Level 8 ATK/2800 DEF/2500
YR1-JP001
When a card that your opponent activates is negated by a Counter Trap, special summon this card from your hand. When this card is successfully summoned by this method, depending on the type of the card negated, use one of the following effects:
Magic: Do 1500 life point damage to your opponent.
Trap: Destroy one card on your opponent's field.
Effect Monster: Select one monster from your Graveyard and special summon it to your field.

This card is a new Shonen Jump promo in Japan. A really wierd effect, but pretty good. Discuss.

EDIT: with Divine Wrath, pretty good turns to pretty BROKEN.

Ooooooohh!! That is broken! . . . . . . .I like it. :D
Holy Crap! Not to mention Magic Jammer, Seven Tools of the Bandit . . . .<gasp> Wait a minute. Can this monster be special summoned during the Damage Step?
I don't know for sure. I guess if you negated something like Rush Recklessly during the damage step with a Magic Jammer, his special summoning and effect would go on a new chain after Magic Jammer resolves. If it works this way, he's way broken.

Dark King Dragon is not lvl 6, he is lvl 8.
His effect is insane...Konami never tires of making new broken monsters and then having to restrict them, do they?

Um, he's Level 8, and I think he's gonna be called Boundary Dragon or sumthin like that <_< >_> *dodges furryjenny's attack* AGHHHH *runs with the quickness*
lol

You've got to be kidding...
Guess it's time I read the card :)
Edited...Again...

you guys are forgetting Solemn Judgment...

^_^

okay im done...

not much else to be said about this card. Well...

Designed by Kazuki himself...

'nuff said...

Rating: (in own deck)
3.5/5

Art:
5/5. Though it does look like REDD...

Here's a list of Counter Traps at the current time:

Seven Tools of the Bandit
Spell Vanishing
Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell
Magic Drain
Solemn Judgment
Magic Jammer
Curse of Royal
Spell Shield Type-8
Tutan Mask
Barrel Behind the Door
Riryoku Field
Trap of Board Eraser
Armor Break
Judgment of Anubis
Horn of Heaven
Negate Attack
Anti-Spell
Trap Jammer
Divine Wrath

I count 19. The bold ones are what I feel see more play or are more useful. That's a good chance of getting this guy out on the field. Now where is he? lol

EDIT: Nevermind. densetsu_x has a far better list. just follow the list posted by DaGuyWitBlueGlasses

Holy this card is gonna get insanely broken once it comes out in english.it wud be cool to c a deck around it to.

Jathro - using Barrel Behind the Door wouldn't allow you to summon Boundary Dragon, neither would Horn of Heaven or Negate Attack

It has a good effect but far from broken. You would have to build a deck around it. There is no way you could throw it in the standard Cookie Cutter deck. I would run in in My Horus/Dragon deck since it runs two Divine Wraths.

In a soul control deck with magic drains in place of the standard control line could hurt the opponent pretty bad; fire monarch is already tough on the enemy's hand and field (soul exchange combo) then add drains to get pretty good card economy going. Might be a bit hard on the soul control player's hand but definitely scary if played right. Plus its another metamorph bait for Gatling.
