If my opponent declares an attack and I have both Mirror Force and Dark Mirror Force already on the field for one turn, can I activated Mirror Force in response to the attack and then chain Dark Mirror Force?

yes, because the last thing to occur "resolve"....the last event was the declaration of the attack. Chain away.

And to add to that, you can only activate "Dark Mirror Force" if your opponent already had a Defense position monster.

i usually run zero gravity....helps against rfdd...and makes a nice chain with dark mirror force......

Again, I'll reference what I posted earlier. Even if you chain "Zero Gravity" to "Dark Mirror Force", they must have already had a face-up Defense position monster before you activated "Dark Mirror Force".
