Decktype Opinion Thread

This is a little fun forum I'd like to make. I hope you guys may have fun with this one. Every so often, I'll list a decktype, and you guys can discuss the decktype. You know, like how the decktype is playable in the current meta, what kind of decks it can make or what kind of hybrid decks it can make, or just how you like or dislike the decktype as a whole.

I think this can be a lot of fun, as it can help us examine what's being played in the meta, what could be given a shot in the meta, and give certain decks a second thought. Hope you guys like this idea and have fun!
 
Great starter! I happen to be very interested in Destiny Heroes, and see great potential in them, even though I've never actually played with them!

Desinty Heroes are one of the greatest and interesting themes in Yugioh, in my opinion. While many themes have great synergy with one another in its group, sometimes the fact that they need to gather all the different cards to make them work is why they don't become popular. The Six Samurai may very well be an example of great cards, with limits to their own theme, respectively.

Destiny Heroes sort of remind me of just good ol' warrior decks, and are defiantly a nice addition to their ranks. Instead of massing alot of themed support, warriors could always find their way into other themes that had some similarities and do will. This is like Destiny Heroes, but the opposite in a way.

Almost every Destiny Hero monster can do well even without the themed support, and even have their own deck types! Destiny Hero - Dogma, Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude, and Destiny Hero - Double Dude are just some examples.

I look forward to seeing the Destiny Heroes expand further, and fully believe in Destiny Heroes becoming a good main deck theme.
 
Yea. That's true. I made my own Diamond Dude deck, and it worked for a while, but I got bored with it after a while. Yeah, the Destiny Heroes function well without help or with it. And also, we're supposed to be getting a new Destiny Hero as a promo in the new World Championship 07 game coming out next month. I think it's "Destiny Hero - Disc Dude" or something like that.

Thanks for sharing your opinion! I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes Destiny Heroes. ^_^
