Delinquent Duo, Night Assailant, and Flip Effect Monsters

I haven't found anything about this so here we go.

Joe plays Delinquent Duo. Billy randomly discards Magician of Faith, then discards a Night Assailant. The question is, are the cards discarded simultaneously or at two different times, thus allowing Night Assailant's effect to go of?

1st time is the random
2nd time is the players choice which is the last step of Delinquent Duo.

even in they were simultaneous you would still be able to take Magician of Faith back with Night Assailant. Ex: discarding both Magician of Faith and Night Assailant with Graceful Charity.

its the whole Mirage of Nightmare vs Sinister Serpent.

if your opponent drops your serpent during the standby you can get it in your hand and then discard the next card.

same goes for Night assaialant. considering you have a second in the gyard.

That can't be done.

You have to wait for Mirage of Nightmare to finish discarding cards till you can retrieve Sinister Serpent again.

From the FAQ: If you discard "Sinister Serpent" during your Standby Phase for the effect of "Mirage of Nightmare", you may add "Sinister Serpent" back to your hand during that same Standby Phase.

I can agree with that as well, but I guess they've have ruling changed,

You use to able to use same Regenerating Mummy for the effect of Delinquent Duo till the FAQ's have been updated.

no, you cannot use the same regenerating mummy for delinquent duo twice for one reason:

You cannot interrupt the resolution of a chain, (exceptions to Exodia, but that's in between steps in a chain, but I'm going off on a tangent ^_^), so Regenerating Mummy, Night Assailant, Sinister Serpent all will form a new chain after the resolution of the current one. Sinister Serpent vs. Mirage of Nightmare, in that situation, you may retrieve Sinister after Mirage discards the # of cards that it should, not in between each discard, for the above stated reason.

I know, but it was in the old FAQ's in Card Registry for Regnerating Mummy. I stated that it has been updated/changed.

...but not during the resolution Mirage of Nightmare.

You would have to re-activate Sinister Serpent after all discards are finished. The same applies to Night Assaliant.
