Destiny Blade Master Versus Shrink

The scenario that occurred:

Opponent had Destiny Hero Dogma face up in attack,
I tribute summoned Jinzo, and used Shrink on Dogma to reduce it from 3400ATK to 1700ATK to destroy it.
Opponent sends Destiny Hero Blade Master from hand using its effect to Increase Dogma to 2500ATK.
Jinzo got destroyed?

Is this correct, unsure about speed spells.

It's a perfectly legal move. Destiny Hero - Blade Master specifically says you can activate it during your opponent's battle phase. Since it alters the attack of a monster, that would also allow it to be activated during the damage step as well. Therefore, it would have to be a spell speed 2 effect in order to be able to activate during your opponent's turn. :eek:ldwink
