Did Anyone Else get To Toys R'Us Only to Be Turned Away?

Anybody see anything there that's says the Yu-Gi-Oh! giveaway is for kids only? Anybody who's not a kid have trouble getting one, or do I just live in an ignorant hillbilly town?

To the misinformed, everything. Card games are traditionally a child's thing, unless there's some form of gambling involved, in which case distinguished elderly gentlemen are often seen playing.

I don't even know if I would have been alowed, but maybe they have leftovers....and won't care...fudge......
 
Is there something special TRU was doing with Yu-Gi-Oh! today? A tournament for kids??????????? Sorry, i've been out of the loop on this stuff since June.
 
The event today was a Birthday Party for Geoffrey the Giraffe. TRU was giving away the new Orange "Sheep Token" (TKN1-EN002) as prizes for those who attended.
 
We tried to go, but we got there at 10 am and they didn't give them away until noon. By then, we were playing in a VS PCQ, and no one wanted to drop just to go get them. Simon, you should hook me up with one at Austin :D
 
Aegism seems rife in certain official circles. Not just TRU, but also the gameboy World Championship 2006 had a maximum age of 32.

Who do "they" think gives their kids the money to buy their toys anyhow?
