Dimension Wall Query?

I have already read some of the posting regarding this card, and want to claify it for a Burn deck, Im making.
This card I believe works very much like Magical Cylinders.
Is it right that if your opponent attacks, and you have no monsters on the field, you could use it to make them take the damage?

In really simple English, Dimensional Wall causes a state such that your opponent takes all Battle Damage you would have taken instead. So assuming your opponent attacked directly with Injection Fairy Lily and was foolish enough to still use her effect after you activated Dimensional Wall, then yes he would take 3400. It just redirects the amount you would have taken to your opponent.

So then what is the proper window of timing for Dimension Wall? I thought it was in the damage step, in the same window as fairy lily would be. Meaning you could chain to their pump, essentially doing 5400 (payment + damage).

I know this is probably wrong, but what substep is it in then?

Way wrong. It has the same activation timing requirements as:

Sakuretsu Armor
Widespread Ruin
Mirror Force
Magic Cylinder
etc.

You activate it only when the attack is declared.

Only if the person was stupid enough to pump it before the declaration of attack.

Can't do that. Fairy Lily's effect can only be activated in damage step.......but if only they were stupid enough to pump after you used the dimension wall........that's a move you just can't live down. That person would be advised to quit the game due to their inability to understand the game.....or how to win at least.
