Do Token count as "real" monsters?

The Questions I have seem somewhat superfluous or at least strange to me, but I'm not as sure about them as I'd like to be :D

1. Do Tokens count as "Monsters" when a card text refers to "Monsters on the field" etc.?

For example, when my opponent has 4 sweet little Sheep Tokens from Scapegoat, I have no monster on the field, could I use The Fiend Megacyber's effect and Special Summon him from my hand without tribute?

Or when I have 4 even sweeter little Sheep Tokens from Scapegoat and another monster on my side of the field and equip that monster with United We Stand, would he gain ATK also for the Tokens?

2. Can I equip Equip Magic Cards to Tokens at all? (I don't see a reason why I couldn't, it just seems stranger and stranger to me the more I think about it: a Token with an Axe of Despair...)

Thanks!

Tokens are considered Normal monsters. They have Attribute, Type, and stat.
The only difference between Real Normal monsters and Tokens are:
  1. Tokens are only monster when they are on the field. They will be destroyed if removed from the field. So, if you target them with "Penguin Soldier" they will be destroyed. The same with "Interdimensional Matter Transporter".
  2. Tokens can not be turned face-down
  3. Some Tokens have conditions on them, like some cannot be use for Tributes.
So, all the situations you listed above are legal.

Thank you for your VERY fast replies, just had to hit F5 twice et violá...:D I mean, at 3 AM, at least where I am :)

The reason for me having asked the above questions (and especially concerning the given situations) is the Question (to myself) if I could do some additional mean tricks with Scapegoat as I have them in my deck no matter what (I like sheep, see my avatar) (I already knew tributing them for a tribute summon is a No-No; and Yes, I would tribute them for a special summon...half the way to Shinato (or Zorc, my favourite), ain't it? ;) ; already used Metamorphosis on them; already Creature Swapped them; which should have shown me that they are monsters, this just appeared weird to me in certain situations), and that I'd like to use The Fiend Megacyber somehow, I just like it. Not for it's artwork, though. ;)

In life, for every answered Question 2 new Questions pop up.

yes UWS would add 3200 to a monster's attack with 4 Scapegoat tokens on the field

With 4 Tokens and another monster, wouldn't it be 4000 ATK added, 800 for every monster, 4 tokens and the fifth equipped one also counted?
4 Sheep Token, one in attack position with UWS and Opti-Camouflage Armor next turn would be lovely, too.

Token count as monsters, I know that now, but do Token also count as cards? Spatial Collapse says YES, what for example on CED-EotE's effect? Dark Core? Morphing Jar #2, if Token weren't treated as cards they would just stay on the field?

One advice from me nevertheless: when you start combinig 5 sentences into one, see top of this post, it's time to go to bed. ;) Good Night!
