Dragon's Mirror CRV-EN040

Remove from play, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).
I like this card, it's smilar to fusion gate, but more specific in what it can do
The best part is that it can use monsters in the graveyard or field (not hand though) to do the fusion!
You can use your Lord of D.+Flute of Summoning Dragon combo and not have to worry if Lord of D. dies before Divine Dragon Ragnarok comes around to fuse King Dragun
But the most potential this card has is to do 2 fusions of the same monster!
Say you use Polymerization to fuse 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons into Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, now use Dragon's Mirror to remove those three Dragons for another Blue-Eyes Ultimate!
That can be made to work with any Dragon type fusion
I use a Dragon deck myself, so this card is really handy, but I'm not sure exactly how useful dragon fusions are to everyone else...
Also, there's a similar card called Miracle Fusion (CRV-EN039) that works with Elemental Heroes, so the same can apply, but replacing monsters with E-Heroes and E-Hero fusions
3/5

I was talking to a friend of mine and he stated, this card is the best card to have ever been released for a card such as F.G.D. since i takes 5 dragons to fuse. :D

Dragon Mirror is clearly better than Poly. The only thing Poly has over this is searchability. The fact that you can target mons in your graveyard makes this awesome, as the guys can do their job, die, then help the greater good. However, Dragon Mirror is only as useful as the stuff it can summon...

So let's name some good Dragon Fusions:

1) King Dragun- Obviously #1, and for good reason. Un-targetability is a nice skill to have, and he can help swarm if all else fails. Unfourtunatly, DDA and DDWL, along with Bottomless and Mirror Force, see extensive play in upper, middle, and lower class tournaments. Still, we'll give him an etxra 2-3 turns on the field than the average monster. Poly is MUCH worse than Dragon Mirror for this, simply because you can discard a Fusion sub and one of the materials for Graceful, then fuse out one of the best fusions in the game.

2)Fiend Skull Dragon- Blech. The worst of the three LOD fusions (Ryu Senshi and Balter being hte others). There are few flips seeing play these days, and almost as few targeting traps. Still not bad (2000 ATK is tough to beat without some help), but just not up to par in the current meta-game.

3) F.G.D.- 5000 ATK is nice and all, but there is nothing stopping this guy from lasting any longer than any other monster in this environment. Plus, he isn't out yet. That kinda hurts his playability...you know...

4)Gaia the Dragon Champion- Use this and I hope you get shot. Okay...that was too harsh...use it without a Spiral Spear Shot, My Body as a Shield, and Divine Wrath down and I hope you get shot.

After King Dragun, the usefulness drop significantly. After all, Fusions all have required a lot of support, as well as half-@$$ed monsters to bring them out. At least with the Mirror they can be used as a Life Point buffer before being yanked off to the Different Dimension.

I could be wrong on this, but I don't think you can actually use Dragon's Mirror to summon F.G.D. The part that says "Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster Card" seems to refer to the "Monster" + "Monster" part above the description on the Fusion Monster. In other words, it removes those specific monsters. F.G.D. doesn't have that part of a Fusion card as it says in the description that it's a fusion of 5 Dragon-Types. Since no specific monsters are listed on it, then Dragon's Mirror wouldn't work on it.

It would work for F. G. D., actually. I have seen that ruling discussed and figured out before. It is probably the main reason this card was made. Too bad F. G. D. it isn't out yet.
