Enemy Targeting ?

As I know the effect of the Enemy switching a monster in defence or attack targets.

WHAT ABOUT THE SECOND EFFECT? I mean :

Player A has Reaper and player B activates Enemy , tributes Treeborn to get A's Spirit Reaper. Does this selection of a monster targets , thus Spirit Reaper will be destroyed ,or not ?

I think it does not target since the use of the word "select" does not mean target ( as it happens with creature swap taht says "select" and its effect is not considered target ).

What do you think ?

Enemy Controller targets regardless which effect you choose. It would be like Brain Control or Change of Heart or Snatch Steal because you're picking what you want to take control. Spirit Reaper would still be destroyed.

It's different from Creature Swap since the player doesn't choose the monster until resolution.
