Yeah, even I'm a littler sick of seeing it. But it's kind of become a trademark of mine, and now I can't stop using it. Anyway...

The purpose of this thread is to promote the regularity of some projects I've gotten going on CoG in the past year, plus to tell you some great news about some comics from a good friend of mine named Jaymes.

"All Bad Things...", my fan fiction crossover will be making regular appearances every Friday. At least one new post will be added to the comic each week on that day.

In addition, "Not What They Seem", the first epic of the my Fusion storyline, will have weekly chapter updates along side "All Bad Things..."

As always, it is my hope to stir up a little creativity around here, and show folks that if I can do anybody can. :D

In addition to all that, I'm proud to announce that some work of mine is finally being published in an online venue. Formerly know as Femme Fatale Studios, the newly titled Haley's Comics is posting regularly at www.digital-caps.com.

I did some colors work for their flagship title "Haley", which is the story of a young woman who's life is tragically cut short in airplane accident in the year 1999. As a "Lander", Haley is forced to travel throughout history and make certain changes in the Timeline, either at the behest of the Creator, or through the manipulation of the Dark Lord himself. The comic's creator, Jaymes, describes Haley as "a tribute to a mix of Quantum Leap, Sliders & Touched by an Angel, ever so slightly." But I have to say, it makes for one original mix. I've never read anything quite like it. Look for my colors work in the storyline called "Landing Strip".

Krystal is also the story of a young woman, and one I believe is dearest to Jaymes heart. The title chronicles the life of a child conceived from the most horrific of circumstances. A rape. And one that manges to leaves scars on not only the victim, but on the baby herself. Krystal grows up in world where men are at their basest and the death of the prostitute that raised her inspires of a hatred for all men and puts her on a path of vengeance that colors the entire series. Definitely a more adult themed comic, but it explores some areas that you can be certain the bigger named companies never will. Near as I can tell, Jaymes has included all his published work on Krystal, including the very first origin story from 1992, which is no longer in print.

Cintara is the stroryline that intrigues me the most. A New York City cop mortally wounded in the line of duty in 2015, Cindy Tara is cryogenically frozen so the extreme damage can be reversed. For 1,000 years, Cindy's body is frozen, but her mind kept aware, constantly dreaming about the past she can never reclaim, and constantly tormenting over the uncertain future on the horizon. When Cindy finally awakes, the world is far different from the one she left. An second Ice Age has fallen upon the earth, as has a dictatorship by seven continental robot societies. Oh, and to top that off, Cindy is no longer human on the inside, but machine, and her outside is a Cybertronic Bioborg-human shell. Conversely, the robot dictatorships of the new earth are robot shells, with human genes implanted in them and they despise fleshy humans.

All in all, I'm proud to say that I was even a small part of this. I wish Jaymes the best of success and look forward to any other projects he may be interested in working on. Just before Femme Fatale Studios disbanded, I sketched up this pic of the Femme Fatale Trio which found it's way to the websites main page just before it went offline. I've not shown it to the public since then, but I think it's an appropriate time for a reshowing. Enjoy and enjoy the comics. They are free after all. LOL

Woo hoo! "Landing Strip" launched today! Click the image to be taken to the Main Comic Page. Guess who did the colors. ;)

Note: I did not do the colors for the cover image. Not sure who did. =/

EDIT: DUH! Andrea ASH Peron did the cover. This is why they didn't use my literary skills. :haveaday

Pretty cool. I only just started, but I like the storyline.

Great color, too! ;) Having absolutely no artistic talent I am a trifle envious of those who can draw a straight line without a ruler...
