Evasion

Evasion is a payment power that you cn use whenever you have priority and can pay the cost.

Since you will get priority during the attack proposel and during the actual attack, you can use it either time.

If you are the defender and you use evasion, don't forget, when you go to attack conclusion, the attack will ready because the defender is no longer there.

evasion???

what does evasion do really? do i dodge an attack or the effect of a plot twist???? how do i activate it???

What evasion's purpose is is to stun the character and have a guaranteed recovery of it. If used while defending, the attacker will reready as the defender is no longer present at attack resolution. It can 'dodge' a plot twist only if the plot twist can't target a stunned character.

As for using it, you simply declare that you intend to use it at any time you have priority.

ok im a newbie for sure? what will happen to the attacker if u activate this effect? will his attack "fizzle" or will it be directed to your Life points?? granted u only have that one character on the field??

so does evasion cause a replay???

That is not correct. Evasion is a payment power that reads: Stun this character -> At the start of the Recovery Phase, Recover this character.

Certainly. Any point where a player has priority is a legal point to put an effect on the chain. Note that you will not be preventing the stun of the character (as that is a cost to put the effect on the chain), but if you are able to negate payment effects (such as with Utility Belt), you would be able to add the effect to the chain to remove the 'auto-recovery' effect.

Keep in mind that there really isn't a concept of 'one player's turn and then the next player's turn' in .VS. Initiative does pass, but both players still go through each phase before the next phase. The only difference is who starts with priority when a phase starts and who goes through the steps in a phase first.
